My Gamertag on my Xbox has completely disappeared along with my Gamepass Ultimate Subscription

So my regular subscription will just continue after the 6 months is up?

No. If you already had xbox live gold then when you add an xbox gamepass ultimate subscription (which includes Xbox live gold) it upgrades your existing Xbox live gold subscription to gamepass ultimate (hence why your gold subscription "disappeared")

So lets say for example before you added the gamepass ultimate subscription you had 6 months of xbox live gold left. When you added the 6 month gamepass code youd essentially now have 12 months of gamepass ultimate in this above example.

Another, family account has the ultimate subscription. It does say gamepass ultimate next to the account gamertag. Sorry for the late reply.

Yes! The gamepass app recognizes my gamepass ultimate subscription. It's a gamepass app bug.

So if i cancel my Gamepass subscription will it give back my 12 months of gold?

No, it will not give you back the 12 months. By cancelling your GamePass Ultimate subscription, it will not renew after 15/05/2020.

The 12 month voucher has been redeemed against Ultimate in line with terms and conditions of the subscription.
