microsoft changed my gamertag which i had for 4 years now but i don´t want to keep this name please tell how i can change my gamertag...

I was going to change my Gamertag's old Hotmail address to a new gaming themed one, but it is now all tied into one Microsoft account, so it would mean it would be updated for all my Microsoft products and not just my Gamertag. I didn't bother in the end.

 

You'll will need to pay to change your game tag now. Your Gamer tag must have violated the TOU and so your gamer tag is changed to less offensive one, I'm sorry to say if you want to change it now you would need to pay to do so. I would advise that you

There is a fee to change it & it must be rated "E" for everyone.

The terms are exactly the same on PSN only you don't get the chance to change your tag,your account is banned straight away.

 

ok but i have the same name at psn, for more than a year and thre´s no problem! ms banned my tags for more 16 times in 5 years! lol thats what we call [Mod removed] style it in germany.(secret state police in old germany )))) i can tell u psn is much
nicer to the users than xbox live ever was....for real

 

The process behind these game tag changes is some other gamers and that means more than one found your gamer tag or tag's offensive, then Microsoft investigate it to see if there is something offensive about it. And if there is it's changed as to respect
the rights of all gamers on live.

These people play online just like you and just like you their views and values should be respected. So it is not Microsoft who have originally found your name offensive but your fellow gamers. It's not an evil company who has an issue with your gamer tag
but other gamers just like you.

ok i think u r right the haters (gamers who lost against me!im no 10 in rumble pit halo3 in the world ) are the evil ones not ms they had no other way to chalenge me, my real tag [Mod removed] is nothing offensive i think... ... but praying to pyramids and
