My gamertag hasnt changed yet

Sorry for the late reply but when I read your comment I decided to wait until a week has passed since I went to change my gamertag and it hasnt changed. Rebootjng my console hasnt helped either

Please hard reset your machine so that the Xbox logo appears on boot. Please also keep in mind that changes to things like avatars and gamer tags can take several days to propagate through the system. I just changed my avatar, because for some reason I lost my 360 based one, and it took three or four days for it to update

It does take a while to filter through the system (it's not instant). There is no set time, you just have to wait but it will eventually change.

Try signing out of the system and sign back in. That may help.

The process of changing the Gamertag in all games and in the entire Xbox ecosystem may take a couple of days to completely change, I recommend you wait a little longer and it should change automatically soon.
