My gamertag hasn't changed yet, but I've been charged for it

I tried to change my gamertag 5 days ago, and I was charged for it, but it hasn't actually changed yet. I've logged in and out a few times since then and still nothing has changed. It even says that the name I tried switching to is still available.

The gamertag I tried changing to was TheOGFireLord

I just paid £7.99 to change my Gamertag but it hasn't changed yet. I've been waiting for over 24 hours and nothing on my account has changed even though I have been charged. Is there a certain amount of time I have to wait until it changes or has my account
just glitched out?

This really isn't much of a big deal I am just wondering when my Gamer Tag is finally gonna change since I have been charged for it already and it says it has been "completed". I have seen several posts where it has been weeks for
others and it hasn't changed for them either. My current name is "" and I was switching over to "Tiny Bole".

Your gamertag here is showing as TheOGFireLord above for me can you confirm if you are experiencing this issue on your console of the Xbox Web site?

If you are experiencing this issue on your console have you tried removing your profile from the console and then re installing it to see if that resolves your problem.
