My gamertag changed my itself!!!

ok so I had my account for about one and a half years on my xbox 360 (2011). I've heard people say that microsoft changes it if it was inappropriate but I believe "BunkeredMaple5" wasn't inappropriate so I believe that's not the case. But I also heard that
its only valid for 30 days from initial account setup but I know that's not true cause I could change it before that one and a half year period. But that still doesn't answer the question that why my account changed gamertag automatically. Can someone please
help!! It changed it to "" which I don't mind now but I would really like to have a choice since 2 years ago when I thought if changing it

Anyone know how to change the name it had given me?!

I have been looking at this as for some reason, my GamerTag is my real name

It would appear that the only place you can change your GamerTag is on the XBOX itself however there is the small matter that Microsoft also want the best part of £7 for the privilege!!!

If you were given a forced name change, it would be listed at http://enforcement.xbox.com

if it doesn't show up under your enforcement history then you may have signed into the wrong account. with the wrong email and password.

I have changed my Windows Live ID on my Gamertag on the console itself, but on the warranty site it wont let me sign in with the new email i changed it to.

Old tag was "", now it's "A person8298". According to enforcement.xbox.com I have a "perfect record" so doesn't seem like it should have been forced.

Is there any way to have someone from Microsoft look into this and figure out what actually happened? I've changed the password to make sure nobody is hacking, but it seems a bit unfair to have to pay to change the tag back and if I don't know why it happened then it could happen again :-(
