my gamerscore has reduced for some reason

it started today and i've lost around 5000G from my gamerscore. Also, the achievements i've just earned are not changing the gamerscore (although notifications still pop up). what am i supposed to do? people say this problem basically
fixes itself after some time but i decided to ask the support just in case.

My gamerscore has been reduced.

Yesterday, I noticed my gamerscore had suddenly been reduced. I seem to have lost over 3000G. My achievements still add up to the correct amount and I am still able to add to my gamerscore by getting new achievements but my total is still missing over 3000G.

EDIT: It seems some games on my achievements page are also showing lower gamerscore. For example, Defense Grid 2 is showing up as 95G, but if you actually go in and look at the achievements, I have 210G.

Reduced gamerscores are usually the result of XBLPET finding that your account has been cheating at achievements.

Achievements that have been reversed are permanently locked from reacquiring. You can test by trying to re-unlock one of the achievements you lost. If you can't get it back, then this is all indeed the case.

 

Yes this problem will fix it self over time. As games have service issue it can affect the gamerscores and when they recover the score should return. I've heard it can be several days for the correction to occur

 

Man I hope it fixes itself I have lost 50.000 at the moment and xbox support are stumped as much as me.

As long as the loss of Gamerscore was not because of an enforcement action then this should correct itself after a few days.
