    My gamerpic on Xbox one turns black on my screen?


    This happen to me about a month ago but it fixed itself and now it is doing it again. It shows the gamerpic as a black circle on my screen and none of my friends can see it. I thought it was because the gamerpic is corrupted.

    What has happened to my gamerpic?

    Ok so on the Xbox One and whilst I am signed in on this website my gamerpic is the way it's supposed to be. The black and white Viking face with a blood splatter effect.

    But, when I see my posts on the activity feed on the Xbox One and in messages etc, the thumbnail of my gamerpic is instead showing an 8-bit looking Viking man which looks crap.

    Why is my gamerpic not showing up as it should do in all places within Xbox Live?

    Not sure if it matters but I am currently in the early dashboard update preview program thing.

    When I look at your
    Xbox.com profile     page, I can see your custom Gamerpic. Are your friends able to see it or is it not showing up for you? If you think the image may be corrupted, you can always change it back to a default one and then re-uploading a clean file.

    I am suddenly having a similar issue. I was in avatar editor and was going to take a gamerpic with it. It stopped showing my avatar, only background, exited and came back and it only showed black, no background. Next, I hit B until I exited and it showed
    the friends app sign, but no video after that, just black screen. I can turn system on and off manually, but just a black screen. I am extremely worried. Does this have anything to do with the update?
