my gamer tag got changed overnight

My gamer tag was Wet Dreams Xo and i had that gamer tag for over two years and never had a problem until last night some scumbags reported my gt and xbox changed it. i hate my new name and when i tried to change it. it is charging me 10 bucks which isn't
fair since i don't find wet dreams offensive and i have seen people online with worst names then mine. i don't feel as i should be playing 10 bucks instead i should be able to change it for free or at least get my refund back for changing my name in the first
place.

Hey did you ever get a resolution to this issue? I am having the same problem. I haven't been on for a couple of months but i know my xbox live membership is still valid, i think i have a couple more months on it. However all of my achievements and ranks
are now gone, like on Halo 5 which is the only game i really played. I logged back on today and played a game just to see if my live was working and it is but now i am a rank 2 before i was in the 90's. I need help.

Yesterday I had used my Xbox One in the afternoon, left, and when I got home and turned it back on it took me through all of the initial startup steps (power mode, account, privacy, etc.). So I think maybe it just crashed and I enter
my account information again. When it takes me to the home menu my gamer tag is one of the randomly generated ones (not my actual gamer tag), my gamer score has been reset to 0, and my 6 or 7 months of Xbox Live Gold are gone. I tried removing the "dummy"
account and re-entered my account information, but it logged me back in to the same randomly generated gamer tag account. It's doing the same thing on here as well. How do I get my old account/gamer tag back? I lost all of my achievements, rewards, etc. Thanks.

 

sorry too many people were getting forced name changes and getting the free change to something else and they would change it to something just as bad. so now if your tag violates the rules (yours sure did how can you think wet dreams is NOT offensive?)
it gets a forced name change to a random tag that YOU will have NO choice to pay the 10 dollars to change it to something else and keep it CLEAN this time.
