My gamer profile isn't staying connected

    My gamer profile isn't staying connected


    When I turn on my Xbox 360, it allows me to sign in to my Live account, but as soon as I do anything (start playing a game, try to edit my avatar, etc) it disconnects me from my profile. It's never done this before. What is this and how can I make it stop?

    Stuck on "Signing in..." Screen

    Is that the only problem ? Are you staying connected to live? 1st I would delete my profile and re download it...

    P.S.

    I have also tried my profile on an other console with the same results. I have also tried other profiles on my console with the same results. The other consoles with the other profiles have no problem staying connected.

    At very least I am baffled.

    Your profile is probably corrupted. Delete the profile (keep your saves and data) then re-download it off the LIVE servers.

    Also be sure to clear your system cache in the hard drive settings as it could be corrupted update data causing the issue.

    xbox one s profiles (family (adult-who occassional plays and 2 children who play)

    Hi.

    So the gamer tag associated with my email (the adult) is there to stay or can I delete that gamer tag and create my own? Then I could create a new profile for son #1 and a new gamer tag.

    I have figured out/created a new profile and gamer tag for son #2.

    So I would like to:

    change the gamer tag that is connected to my email account (the adult).

    If possible I would like to keep my son's gamer tag and just move it to the email account/profile I created for him... (I'm pretty sure you said I couldn't do this but just checking?
