My Gamepass Subscription Is Causing Me Problems

I was given a 12-month Xbox Live Gold subscription code for Christmas, I entered the code thinking it was successful. I didn't check my subscriptions to see if it had extended the subscription or not. Today, I decided to check my subscriptions and I saw
that my subscription for Xbox Gamepass Ultimate was about to run out on June 4, 2020. I thought that it had ran out back in March as the previous date said back in July of 2019 because I hadn't played since January of 2020, this alarmed me because I didn't
see my Xbox Live Gold subscription that should've lasted until Christmas of 2020. So now I'm confused on what to do because my entire 12-month Xbox Live Gold subscription has been cancelled out for a 3-month Xbox Gamepass Ultimate extension that I had never
known about.

If you have any suggestions on what I should do please reply.

Hi, if you had redeemed an xbox live gold for 12 months while you had an active Gamepass Ultimate Subscription, all the gold months have been converted to 4 months of Gamepass Ultimate

In order to get only the Gold subscription you should have waited until GP Ultimate expiration and then redeemed the code... you can try to contact the support and ask them if they can convert your Ultimate subscritpion into a Gold one, but I don't know

Hello NikMcNik,

GamePass Ultimate is the bundle itself of Gamepass and Live Gold, but it won't list that you have gold in your Xbox, if that is your question.

So it makes sense that your Live Gold is deactivated, cause you right now have enabled Gamepass Ultimate.

So :

Gamepass Ultimate ( Is like a bundle of Gamepass and Live Gold)

Xbox Live Gold

Gamepass

Will be shown as different subscriptions, cause these are technically different subscriptions, albeit Ultimate giving you both advantadges.

Are different subscriptions unless you have gamepass ultimate cause provides xbox live gold, gamepass for xbox and pc

I logged in and took a look at my services and subscriptions. I was surprised to see OneDrive listed along with the services I do subscribe to, xbox live and xbox gamepass. The Onedrive section says I pay a reoccurring subscription of $9.99 a month. I never
subscribed to that, so I clicked on the manage link in the onedrive section. Instead of my onedrive subscription displaying, my xbox gamepass subscription is displayed. I try to access my onedrive subscription many times, and always the gamepass subscription
pops up. Hovering over the link, I can see the the URL to the onedrive subscription and the URL to the gamepass subscription both point to the gamepass subscription. Thinking that this is just an error on the site, I replace the section of the url that says
gamepass with onedrive, and finally I'm in the onedrive subscription section! I cancel my subscription to onedrive, and then return to my services and subscriptions....and gamepass has now been canceled! I tried all of this using Edge and Chrome. What is going
on!

There doesn't seem to be a category for an issue like this, so I hope someone can direct me where to go with this problem.

Looks like a bug in the website, if you canceled it and the result was the gamepass canceled so looks like a bug in the website. So that value that appears in not the onedrive but the gamepass. The best with contact the support like was said above, and see
if you can get back the gamepass trough the support chat.

When I click open on the microsoft store it runs cause I have it installed. But this I believe is because of my subscription to gamepass.
If I look in my library in the xbox app and filter it to games I own. Gears 5 does not show up. Indicating that without the gamepass subscription. I would not be able to play it.
