    My gamepad seems to be defined as mouse/keyboard.


    Hi, I have a problem about recognition of my gamepad. My gamepad is seen as mouse/keyboard in the part of bluetooth&other devices, and when i uninstall host controller and after the restart the computer plugging the gamepad into usb port again, it did not work.

    By the way, I have two gamepads which both are Logitech F710, one of them is working and seen as gamepad but the other, that i mentioned, is not, and both gamepads have no problem.
    I am a windows 10 pro user.

    Keyboard users should be PROHIBITED from playing against controller users

    Personally i do not have a problem playing against someone who is using keyboard and mouse, I used to play on pc with a gamepad instead of mouse and keyboard and never noticed any difference between players.

    I am also glad to see that keyboard and mouse support is being added to World of Tanks soon, Personally i won't stop using a gamepad.

    The decision to implement keyboard and mouse is actually down to each individual developer and not microsoft so it would be upto them to decide if they can restrict matchmaking.

    Adyem, and did you tried changing between mouse/keyboard mode to gamepad mode pressing the view + menu button simultaneously?

    Hi Jim, I'm Luis a Xbox user just like you. Thanks for reaching out us here. The Android app is optimized for use with a Bluetooth gamepad. You can use an external mouse and keyboard but you might encounter compatibility issues such as a double mouse cursor, jerky mouse movement, or incorrect keyboard mappings.

    I think that the more options the better. PC can use a gamepad, or Keyboard/Mouse. Give gamers options, let the developers decide if they want to segment controller vs keyboard users in their matchmaking code.
