My game won't start it says it took long to start then it gives me a code 08007005.

To add some light on this, my console sometimes gives me an error "Guide took too long to start: Error code 0x8027025a"

When this happens it has nothing to do with your Xbox. When your download speed isn't fast enough to keep up with your Xbox. Your console will tell you it too long to start. So your console is trying to process a specific amount of data at a time and if
it cant keep up it will give you the error. Please try some of these troubleshooting steps to see if you can boost your routers performance.

This happens with Fortnite on my sons console occasionally.

We reset the console by holding the power button on the console for a full 10 seconds until it’s completely off. When we turn it back on and try again, it always fixes it.

If you've already tried the solutions for that in the
8027025A Error Guide and they haven't helped, the next step to try would be a

Factory Restore on the console. There's an option to keep your Games & Apps installed to the console, so you don't need to worry about redownloading any of those

I've only had this happen to me once. I reset the console by holding the power button on the console for about 7 seconds or so until it was completely turned off. I then turned it back on and it worked fine and that error has never happened again and that
was over 2 years ago. I play nearly every night.
