My game save won't transfer.

So I know with the cloud you can play on any console and it will load from where you last left off. I had a 360 and now have an xbox one. For a while both systems would talk to one another and I could play single player on both from one save/load profile
and it was fine. but now the game is only saved to the 360 and not the one. I can't get it to load on the one and would really like to because its the console I use most. any ideas? I know people were saying the games don't transfer but I had no problem with
that until recently.

Xbox 360 to Xbox One saves transfer

XBox One isn't backwards compatible with XBox 360 games, hence you won't be able to transfer 360 saves to the One.

Thanks everyone! Looks like I'm safe then.... So even if I transfer my content to the new Xbox from the USB, (which will include saves, profiles and the now unusable DLC and Live games), so long as I don't actually try and transfer my license again I won't
get my new console banned?

The game saves have never transferred. The only thing that could be transferred was your online character, and that was only a one-time switch. The 360 cloud saves are in a totally separate location/server than the One saves.

Sadly, this feature was never added as part of the transfer process. It's definitely something I would have enjoyed, though. It probably has to do some with the new content in GTA V for Xbox One which I assume might throw the idea of transferring a game
save out the window due to incompatibility.

Games saves are signed to the account who saved the game initially. Transferring someone else's saved games to use with your profile won't work.

Are you transferring the Xbox 360 saved versions of the game? Because if it's the Xbox one version it won't transfer over to the 360 side.

It depends on the game really...if it has cloud saves, then your data won't be lost as it is in the cloud (all my games I was able to continue where I left off when I transferred consoles).

Games which only have local saves would require you to transfer the saves between consoles before wiping the XB1 (unless of course there is a way to cloud save)

Certain games are cross saved enabled, which means you can transfer the saved games from one device to another. Play anywhere is you can play the digital version of the game on any of the 2 devices. Some won't be able to transfer the saved games over.

You won't be able to transfer the game saves, as they are tied to profile. This would just be for testing purposes.
