My game keeps stop installing

I uninstalled a few games a couple of months ago to get more space for other games but now I want to re-install one of them again but it keeps saying installation stopped. I cleaned it and everything. It’s no wrong with the disc. What am I supposed to do?

digital free games

for the past 3 days ive tried to install digital free games that i got from the xbox store onto my xbox one. One game installed and the other 3 I'm having problems with. One of the 3 games got to 60% and stopped. That was 3 days ago so i tried installing
one of the other games and it wouldnt install. Same with the other game. Its been doing this for 3 days. It would stop installing then i would try to install again and it again would stop installing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm really frustrated.
I tried installing them offline too and the installation keeps stopping.

 

Games won't download

not sure what is wrong but when i go to download games off the store it'll start installing then it'll stop for so long. Like it says installing but it isn't at all. And when i go to pause it it'll take like 2 to 5 minutes to actually pause. I have done
a hard reset and tried re installing the game but it keeps happenig. My xbox is also 3 years old so could it be the console or something else?

 

Have you tried deleting the stopped install and then re trying to install it? You can also try Error Installing Xbox One Game

 

In addition to what whiteandshiny advises and to make sure any previous cache isn't used try the following steps

Be sure the network connection is fully up and running properly if it is, continue to the next steps

1. Stop the current installation and remove it.
2. Power cycle the console via Guide - Settings - Restart Console
3. Download a demo or any other content of at least a couple of GB in size
4. If the download of the other content was successful then try to install the Game again

I uninstalled the game and installed it again a couple of times which solved the problem but it takes a couple of tries.

 

it works but took a couple of tries
