My game keeps sending me back to the dashboard when I start it up and I tried everything...

I’m having the same issue but it’s with Call of Duty Cold War. I’ve tried resetting the console and it’s still not working

Please answer the following questions to assist you properly :
What console do you have?
Is this happening only with NBA2K23 or if you try with another game the issue persists?
Do you have the game installed on the internal storage or did you installed the game on a external drive?
And, tell me briefly what did you tried so far to fix this problem

In the meantime, this can be a bit odd but try this:
go to Settings > Network > Advanced Settings

Once you’re inside the Advanced Settings menu, go to DNS settings and select Manual from the list of available options.
When you get to the next screen, enter 8.8.8.8 in the box associated with the Primary DNS and 8.8.4.4 in the Secondary DNS box.

Once the default DNS addresses have been changed, restart your console and see if the issue has been resolved at the next console startup.
(If that doesn't work use 1.1.1.1 as primary and 1.0.0.1 as secondary)

I have the exact problem as you my game froze once and it doesn't let me go back in. It starts the game up but then returns me to the dashboard I tried everything as well like you did. If I get this solved I'll tell you how but if you get it solved please
tell me how you did it.

i can log into xbox live on my dashboard but ever time i try and play a game it logs me out of live and wont let me log back in but when i go back to the dashboard im signed back onto xbox live and i checked the service thing and it said that everything
is up and running

I was playing Forza 6 just now and all of a sudden the track started disappearing textures wouldnt load and the game crashed so I went back to the dashboard and the dashboard froze up on me... think I might have to send the console in for repairs.
