My game installation keeps saying installation stopped

My disclaimer...This is not an elegant solution, and I haven't tested this myself...

Network



First I would check the network to see how the performance is.

You mentioned that the files failed to download....

So it's important to make sure you can transfer files normally.

If it is working normally... great.

If it's really bad, try rebooting check it

and it if it still looks bad, shut it all down and re-seating all the cables and retest.

Un-Install



Once that's you are sure you have good bandwidth and it's stable...

Then you want to follow Bungie's instructions and Uninstall Destiny...

I would read this entire techdoc as it also recommends rebooting to clear the cache.

Then if you have done that, then try Re-Installing.

Make sure you install one package, and then check it to make sure it finishes properly

before installing additional packages...

I went on my hard drives internal and external and its uninstalled but i go to the store and it says i own the game. i tried to install it and it keeps saying installation stopped

Sorry to hear you are having installation issues. Do you have other games on disc you can install and that do install? If possible, do you know anyone else who can try and install it?

Also does the disc have any scratches even small ones especially near the centre?

I did that. It doesn't help. This only applies to this one game, not others. It keeps trying to install and then saying "Installation stopped."
