My game download size is reduced after updating

Hi.

I just bought COD: Infinite Warfare Legacy Edition. I started downloading Modern Warfare Remastered last night. Today, my Xbox downloaded the update automatically. Now, when I go to Games & apps, the download size is reduced to 3.97GB and now it's stuck
on 100%. How can I fix it?

Recent Xbox One System Update that boosted download speed

I generally max out my 75mbps. The Xbox 360 downloads were always slow for some reason though, almost like it was looking at the file size and going we can do it at 15mbps instead and still get the same % download per minute as a bluray sized XB1 game, or that it was simply slowing it down because it was a 360 game...

But now everything goes at 75mbps including 360 games after this update.

Halo 5 installed twice

After update my halo 5 (98gb!) I have the game installed twice and my disc space reduced a lot.

Any solution? (the update take me 1 week to download....)

Are you able to uninstall and reinstall the game without any issues? Is this a disc or digital game?

I am unaware of any methods of reducing an update size. But there are ways to speed it up some of these ways include

Updating one thing at a time

Limiting background app usage

Task Manager if on PC to check if something is using up your network

There are many more you can find with a few searches.

Sorry to hear that you are missing out. Unfortunately Microsoft can't reduce the size of a game and still keep it functional. The size of the game on disc is the same size as what you would download. The only thing you can do is acquire a larger storage
device to hold games of a larger size such as this.

can you tell someone to reduce the game size you basically banned me with the new season 6 update sense its 9 gigabytes making the entire game 84 and I don't have that much space on my computer. looking for my money back or a size reduction.

I have same problem with screen not locking but have not downloaded anything new. It is also possible to enlarge or reduce image size while locked. The only thing that is locked is the ability to move the board itself. This must have started with the update
that gave larger puzzle size. Please fix !!!!
