    My game disc is recognised but won’t play


    I have got rainbow 6 siege on disc whenether i put my disc in, it says that it recognises the disc but it says to insert the disc for the game, clean it or make sure there are not any scratches on the disc. The disc is clean and has no scratches, when
    i go onto a different game or app and go back to the home page it says that it recognises the disc what do i do

    Hey there ASAP!

    Sorry to hear that you're dealing with this issue trying to play Rainbow 6.

    In this situation, I would say that it's best to try this little trick that I like to do that resolves a bunch of general problems that you may have concerning your console. When you get a chance to goSettings>Disc
    & Blu-ray>Blu-ray>Persistent storage and clear it 3 times. After doing that, go to
    Settings>Network>Network Settings> Advanced Settings> Alternate MAC address
    and clear that alternate MAC. The console will say it needs to restart to apply the change, so let it do that and then try the game again.

    If that doesn't work, then I would next try what we call a soft reset.
    It's a reset of your console back to factory settings but one that does not uninstall any of your games or apps and is a really good troubleshooting step for most issues.

    Just make sure that before you go ahead with it, that you do know all of the sign-in information for any/all of your accounts(asthey
    will be removed) and have easy access to your internet network.

    Also make sure that you select the option denoted
    reset and keep my games and apps.

    hi, which version of xbox one do you have? with the very first version of Xbox one there were drive problems. I also had to send in mine after half a year. Same symptoms. Microsoft has extended the warranty on certain models. Maybe you should contact the
    support to check your warranty claim.

    Why does my Xbox series x 87 days old not play any disc whatsoever ?? Won’t play Xbox one game Xbox 360 dvd or Blu-ray won’t play anything it’s the 5th Xbox on the spin to do this ?
