    My fx now app keeps getting an error


    Every time I try to use the fx now app I get the error "Every time I use my fx now app I get this error The Application has encountered an unexpected error and will now exit.". I've tried to delete and reinstall it multiple times to no success. Help!

    FX Now app simply stopped working

    So I have Comcast Xfinity, I have alot of channels including showtime,hbo, and so forth. FX is a normal part of that package.

    For weeks now I've been using the FX Now app on the X1 to watch different shows, then a few days ago it keeps telling me that I can't use FX Now because its not supported by my TV service provider.

    Lol wut? I tried to uninstall the app and reinstall, still keeps giving me the same error. I havent changed anything on my end or with my Comcast.

    Any help would be super, thanks

    Can anyone confirm that FX Now app downloads and runs?

    I am unable to get the FX Now app to run. My main console is a slim 360 with internal memory. When I download it, the 137mb download takes as long as it should and downloads to 100%. If I try to launch it right aways after download, I get an error message
    "xbox stores...unable to launch app". If I first go to the app and launch it that way; it keeps asking me to redownload the app. I do, however after it downloads again, I am asked to download it again. I did notice that in the storage manager the app size
    is 9mb in memory. Doesn't seem correct. I tried cleaning the system cache and about 3 times now formatted storage and redownloaded my profile and the app. Same thing.

    I got out my old phat w/oem harddrive to try a different xbox, same exact thing. Keeps asking me to download it over and over again while the app size in storage is 9mb.

    Very strange that two xbox's would have the same problem. Can anyone confirm that the FX Now app downloads and runs correctly on their xbox 360?

    FXNOW App Not usable

    I also uninstalled the xfinity app from the Xbox in case this is another useless error from Microsoft that had no link to the FX app.

    I have the same problem with FX now. Saying my parental controls for comcast wont allow it. Showtime anytime had the same issue but eventually got it to work after deleting then reinstalling. FX app seems to be thinking there is parental from the provider
    even though mine is set to accept everything

    So, the error code you listed is saying that you need to verify your email address for the new account: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-360/errors/error-code-0x8015402B

    I did have my account verified, and still the same thing. I tried to format storage and redownload my old profile and redownload FX app. I was able to download it however; if I launch it right after I install it, I get an error message that it cannot start.
    If I try to open it again, it tells me to redownload it. If I dont launch it right after I download it and exit out and then open it, still tells me to redownload it.
