Removal of friend from friends list

I'm trying to remove two people from my friends list, but it keeps telling me that I cannot perform that operation. I have never had this trouble before....need some help.

Can anybody help with this problem because now i cant log in, and it keeps telling me to try later but its the same crap telling me that it cant log me in so now im thinking of returning my xbox one for a new one but this is just sum BS!!! It wus working
fine a few hours before and now it just wont work anymore!! Help anyone???!!

2. Check if the correct Xbox account was logged in.

3. Log out then log back in with the correct Xbox Account.

That doesn't help at as it doesn't tell to get my xbox 360 to start displaying my friends list that the xbox is showing me.

Is it possible that there is an update to your Xbox One console as well as the Xbox App on iOS and Windows Phone? Are you using the Xbox App or a BETA version of the app? When you say you did a hard reset of the console, did you mean a power cycle, or reset
the console to factory defaults while keeping your games and apps?
