    my friends list is gone and more


    it started with my profile picture, i tried to change it but it would never changed. I ended up having 3 different gamerpics showing up in 3 different places on my xbox page. I decided to remove the account and add it back.. that solved that problem but
    as it was downloading my stuff, an error message popped up saying something like "failed to get stuff blah blah try again later".

    my friendslist was gone and if tapped on "suggested friends", itd show me my followers and friends of friends. i wantes to fix a lousy bug but now im stuck with this? what a joke... please if anyone has an answer itd help out alot.

    Hi! Assuming this happened to you on Xbox One, are you able to see your friendslist on xbox.com or via the Xbox-app for mobile/Windows 10?

    Hey there Im Mad!

    Sorry to hear that you're dealing with this issue having your friends list gone.

    After reading through your post, I think that a soft reset of your console would be a good step to try.
    It's a reset of your console back to factory settings but one that does not uninstall any of your games or apps and is a really good troubleshooting step for most issues.

    Just make sure that before you go ahead with it, that you do know all of the sign-in information for any/all of your accounts(asthey
    will be removed) and have easy access to your internet network.

    Also make sure that you select the option denoted
    reset and keep my games and apps.

    Follow the steps here on
    How to reset your console to factory defaults on Xbox One     and let us know how that helps with the issue

    Im experiencing the same problem...... first couldn't send a message then I delete and redownload and it completely wiped my friends list. Xbox has no service alert for this as well they must be slacking off again.
