My Friend's Game Freezes

Hi, so I am posting this for a friend who has an Xbox one S. He has had this Xbox since the Christmas of 2018. This Just started happening and we have been trying everything to help it. in all multiplayer games, this happens. he goes into a game and selects a multiplayer game he loads in and he plays for maybe 2-5 minutes then the game freezes and he gets kicked back into the game's main menu. We have tried battlefront 2 FIFA 21 gang beasts but every multiplayer game it does the same thing. But when he went into Madden and he played a game against Ai it never froze or kicked him out. Could someone please help.

Hello SkyWalker#8668, See if your friend has tried a reset by keeping games and Apps on their console, if you haven't tried it, follow the procedure below.

Xbox One reset keeping Games:

Press the Xbox button to open the panel.

Select system > Settings > System > Console Information

Select Reset console.

Restore and maintain my games and apps.

Rest assured, you won't miss games or saves

Note: You need to know the email and passwords of your accounts when performing this reset.

SkyWalker#8668, does he log with the same account he had logged in before, you're sure?

Does it happen just with Battlefront 2?

So basically you entered an email and it went to the wrong account so he entered the same email and clicked forgot password, then he reset his password and it logged him into a different account which he is fine with because when he logged into his ea account it said syncing the data between his original account and his other one but no data was actually synced. He was still level 1 in all of his characters in battlefront 2.

Sorry it took so long respond, busy at work

but I was a able to try somethings

I used my hard drive on friends xbox 360 no freezes got home to my xbox it froze

brought my xbox to friends house never froze

but when i got home it never froze for many games

until I tried playing with friends that live alone way away

multiable games in a row with these friends it froze

but local friend or by my self it does not freeze

so it must be my internet right?
