My friends Drivatar is way faster than all the others

Hello everybody,

I have a problem with my Forza Horizon 3 game (win10).

When I do a race (offline) the game spawns random Drivatars from other players and my friends Drivatar/-s.

Usually you set the difficult level to what you want in the game menu (just before the race starts), which makes the Drivatars easy or not so easy to beat.

But I do have a problem with exactly that:

I do set the difficulty level to "X" and all the Drivatars should do about the same speed, but in my case they dont...well one doesn't.

I know its quite difficult to explain so I did some screenshots, which will hopefully expain the situation better.

The problem is, that my friends Drivatar (in the pics 2nd position) is way faster than all the other Drivatars (about 20-30sec) and completly ignores the difficulty setting of the game. It is sometimes really hard to beat and usually I need about 4-5 attemts
to finally beat this Drivatar in a race.

I dont know if anybody else has that problem or if it should be this way but I doubt it.

Additional note:

When my Drivatar appears in my friends game it behaves completly normal (like the other spawned Drivatars).

Cheats and mods are not included since my friends is living in the same household and I know that he is not using such things.

Is this a known bug or am I the only one with this issue?

Quite addicted to this version of Forza more than others. It's about the drivatars habits more than times, as you can set your drivatar difficulty higher yet still see your friends in a game. This means that it's not really based on your times. Have a look
into your drivatar stats and you can see all the things it considers and puts that into some special calculation.

yeah i never really played forza. i played a little forza horizon at a friends house. it was ok, i like this one much more though

 

I have also contacted the support via chat and they created a case with the number

Xbox Wire did a good write up on
What Forza Drivatars Are, and I think it's a good article to read over to understand that specific system. Since this is an in-game feature that appears to be functioning by design, we're unable to assist in looking into a specifc drivatar. You can however
set up an online private free-roam to avoid drivatars if you choose.

But there are still some things I dont understand:

Why do all the other drivatars basically stick together in an offline race but my friends' drivatar is so much faster?

I only have the problem in offline races where there is no possibility to choose which drivatar can be in the race or not...

Obviously if I do an online race every drivatar is controlled by a real person and not by the A.I.

But as you can see in the pictures my friends' drivatar is 25sec faster than the other A.I. controlled drivatars...so my friends' drivatar completly ignores the difficulty settings in the game, which is the problem I have at the moment.

Unfortunately I can't speculate why that one specific friend's drivatar is performing better than the rest of the drivatars, but for specific in-game questions like that are best for the

Forza Horizon 3 forums to see if the Forza community can give advice.

Since I have been send to this forum from the Microsoft Chat Support it's not really satisfying, but I guess I have no choice than try to look for the solution to this issue on the other forum...
