My friends can't see any of my screenshots/game clips.

So yeah i couldn't tell you exactly when this started happening but its been close to 2 years now. Every time i try to send any sort of my media to anyone one Xbox they get the message "The item you are looking for cannot be found, it may have been deleted
or not exist"

something along those lines.

Anyways after opening a few tickets with Xbox support and going through all the hoops ( all the setting changes and console factory resets ) i get told my issue will be forwarded to the higher ups. Months later, no response at all and the ticket was closed.

Recently at the start of September i opened another ticket and was ran through pretty much all the same hoops except this time i was offered a measly 1 month of Xbox live gold for my 2+ years of essentially no game DVR. I was told again by this support rep
that my issue would be forwarded to the higher team and this time they wouldn't leave me hanging, so i exchange a few emails with the support rep who is asking me for screenshots of all my privacy settings from both desktop and console so the support team
could have a better chance at fixing my issue.

Cut to now where i just happened to check up on my support status requests and find out that AGAIN my ongoing ticket has been closed for seemingly no reason and i wasn't even told or updated or anything. I cannot stress how annoying this is getting now,
every time i bring this issue up it just seems to get brushed to the side after no one can figure it out and i'm left looking like a moron.

I would really appreciate any more knowledge about this horrible problem if any of my fellow gamers have had this problem.

I do have the service numbers from the previous encounters with support incase it's needed.

I can't see my friend's game clips or screenshots.

so this all started about 5 months ago, when I stopped seeing my friends game clips in my activity feed. I manually went to his account and even there, it said that he had not clipped anything. He has even sent me his game clips as shared content in messages
and when I open it, it says, "we could not find the item you are looking for". Please if anyone has a fix, share with me. My friend makes the funniest clips and I can't see them

 

Friends are unable to view any clips I post

Every game to what I've seen, I have tried deleting every clip and screenshot I've ever taken.. Ending with no uploads at all... Played a couple days and got a lot of clips and screenshots saved now... Some friends can, some can't... I've used my dads profile
to look for workarounds or reasons why they won't appear but I just can't find any..

I have all my preferences set to where people can see everything except friend only things like friends list & game & etc, personal stuff but not uploads

Thank you for taking the time to post on the forums. I'd be happy to try and help with what we can do here on the forums.

Does this issue only happen when you send clips or screenshots to friends? Have you tried going into your library of captures and making sure they are uploaded to Xbox Live?

Have you tried sharing the clips on Twitter or OneDrive?

Can you send messages as normal to friends?

Have you tried sharing clips to friends on the Xbox app on mobile or Windows 10, or on Xbox.com?

It isnt just friends and yes the clips and screenshots are uploaded to Xbox live

OneDrive and Twitter, i don't see how they matter but yes, media does share on them and yes i can send normal text messages on Xbox, also the media can been seen on desktop.

I can see my own clips on the website and on the console its just other people cant see any clips or screenshots when i send them via a message on the console and also no one can see my activity feed on the console, almost like i haven't uploaded anything
or have my settings to private but i dont.

 

You know im not having a problem recording clips or taking screenshots, it's just that no one else can see them on the console but can see them on desktop.

 

Look at this, just copy/pasted replies that don't help or solve my issue in the slightest and now no one is even suggesting anything.

Like i said, i bring this issue to people and when they can't figure it out they just mess me about and im left standing here like a dunce.

Do you have the clips saving to both Xbox Live and the Console or just one of those?
