    My friend's account got hacked


    I have a friend, whose account got hacked a few months ago. He contacted Microsoft at least twice, but he told me that they didn't do anything to resolve his issue. He completed his survey, but I believe that he didn't receive enough steps to complete his
    process of recovering his account. If any of you guys have any suggestions, please comment on this thread. Thank you.

    Hey, can you give us some more details about how it happened? If I understand correctly, you're currently in possession of the account? The hacker is no longer using it?

    If yes, I really suggest that you immediately contact the Xbox support and explain to them what exactly happened. If you can somehow prove, or make them believe that you truly got hacked they might revert the communication ban. I think that it's your best bet My friend's account got hacked :) good luck!

    Your friend would either need to follow the instructions
    here     or contact support here & ask them to open an unauthorised access case.

    Xbox live account hacked...points spent on random crap.

    My account got hacked too. On June 20th, someone downloaded a bunch of stuff from my account. They even deleted out all my friends on my friends list.

    Please have you're friend contact Xbox support by phone to start an unauthorized access investigation and they will be able to get him his account back.

    You friend would need to file a complaint on the gamer via the console. Calling out other gamers is not allowed on the forums.

    If his account has been compromised, he would need to contact support and have them start an unauthorized access investigation.
