My friend is trying to download my profile but every time he does it comes up error code ...

We have been trying to do this all day. he is from the US so I don't know if a UK account works with the US but a lot of people say it does? HELP!!

Thanks for coming by the thread I really need help. For the past 2-3 days every time I try to download my friends profile so he can play on my xbox it comes up with "Sorry, theres something wrong with your Microsoft account. Go to account.live.com for help.
80151012" I tried deleting my own profile and redownloading it and it worked fine. every time i go to download a profile it stops in the same spot every time then comes up with the error message. I really need to get this resolved as it is annoying and before
i might need to download a profile if a friend comes over.

 

I'm pretty sure you can look up the error code on this site somewhere and it will tell you what the problem is , I suspect a UK account cannot be used in the US.

4. Under VISITED CONSOLES, select Require profile download.
5. Return to the Xbox 360 console and
   download your profile.

1. Sign in to your Xbox Live account at any
   Xbox.com page, such as this one.
2. Find and select My Account, which may be located in the upper-right corner under your gamertag or in the left navigation pane under
   Avatar.
3. Select Security, family & forums.
4. Select Xbox 360 profile protection.
5. Under "Consoles that do not require your password for sign-in", select Require Profile Download (the green button). This will clear your profile from any Xbox 360 consoles where it's currently saved.
   
6. Return to the Xbox 360 console and
   download your profile.

Solution 2: Reset the password for your Microsoft account. Here's how:

1. Go to the Reset your password page.
   
2. Enter your Microsoft account email address.
3. Type the characters that you see in the picture.
4. Click Next.
5. Choose one of the options available to send a reset link. If you don't have access to either of the proofs, click
   I can't use any of these options.
6. Enter the Microsoft account that you are trying to recover.
7. Enter your contact email address.
8. Click Continue.
9. Validate your identity by providing as much information as you can on the Microsoft account recovery page.
   
10. Follow the instructions to finish.

Not sure why your friend in the US would want your profile on his console anyway , nudge nudge wink wink.

 

So an Ambassador is hinting that he's trying to commit, what Microsoft consider to be, Marketplace theft.
