My Friend gets kicked mid game in Astroneer

I normally host a map and my friend joins as normal. After a amount of time he gets kicked and he gets and error with something like (Failed to connect to Host) , i'm playing that map with 3 friends, this happens to 2 of them, while for 1 friend the game is completely normal.

We highly recommend advising your friends to follow what's mentioned here => Troubleshoot Xbox Live parties | Xbox Support. You coyuld also test out by trying in other games to help narrow he issue and see if this is happening with this game alone.

Thought I may have solved the problem as I bought a power line adapter which means I hard wired the Xbox1 via Ethernet.

2 games in kicked mid game. No-one else in my game gets kicked.

Im still getting kicked out og all multiplayer matches on mcc mid way through every game.

Sorry to hear about the random disconnects, I can definitely understand how frustrating that could be. I recommend trying a few troubleshooting steps if you haven't already to see if we can get this issue sorted.

Please give the following steps a shot:

Try Uninstalling and reinstalling Call of Duty.
Press and hold the power button on your Xbox One console for 10 seconds.
Once your console is powered off, unplug the power cord.
Wait 5 minutes and then plug in your console.
Power on your console and try playing Call of Duty to see if the issue continues.

Give the suggested steps listed above a try and let us know how it goes.

1 in every 2 of my games kicks me out mid-game to the home screen, so i gave up and tried to finish the campaign........

cannot get past the sixth mission as EVERYTIME it starts i get booted.
