My Friend can't invite anyone into a fireteam.

Discus and support My Friend can't invite anyone into a fireteam. in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; It keeps saying her Fireteam is closed. How does she open it?     My Friend can't invite anyone into a fireteam.


    It keeps saying her Fireteam is closed. How does she open it? People say "it's in the roster", we can't find anything in the roster.

    Thats odd, option is there on PS4 you have and I dont remember the exact verbage but Option 1 "Anyone" 2 "Friends Only" 3 "Invite Only" 4 "Closed" That not the 4 options for you in there? Anyone makes it public if you have that option it allows someone to right click your name and join fireteam without an invite and the invite option allows you to invite anyone even if they arent on your friends list but with that option friends need invites as well they cant just join you I set it to anyone so I can invite randoms or they can join me or friends can join me.

    You have to form an Xbox Live Party first and then invite party to game. Also, you have to be on the ship when you do this or it will not work. Finally in order to talk to each other you have to keep the party snapped or voice chat will not work. It is
    a known glitch.

    Destiny doesn't use the standard Xbox live ports so even if the Xbox Nat is open destiny might not.

    Try forwarding port 1200 to the Xbox one and see if that helps.

    guys..we had that problem with hearing also...we found that if you do the party first..then open the game with the invites you can hear....The same thing happened with battlefield 4 and the same solution fixes it for us..

    mine keeps saying my Fireteam is closed too. There are no articles to help with the xbox one and you can't use the same technique as the 360 to open it (through the roster). I wish we could get some help, this is really taking away from the beta =/

    Its much easier and stable to invite people when you in orbit IMO

    that's not the problem... I've tried that, it's the fire team settings. They have post showing how to change the settings on the ps3 and 360 but it's not there on the xbox one

    This is happening to me also but I can't even chat to anyone at all

    If I join a party from a friend inviting me, or I invite someone in the party you normally see 2 purple circles next to our names yes? My friend says im not even in the party, although I CAN see them I cant even hear them and they cant hear me

    Even in game chat doesn't work (Destiny) as I cant even switch between fireteam/in game chat, although my friend can switch to fireteam chat and I can hear them that way

    Tried both headset and even resetting kinect, tried unplugging conolse, hard reset, nothing seems to work

    Please MS give us some info!

    Update:

    Okay for anyone trying to figure out how to invite friends to your fireteam or join a friends fireteam on the XBOX ONE, go to orbit, now follow these steps:

    1. Press the "X" button.

    2. Go to friends app.

    3. From the home page of the friends app, go to "My Profile".

    4. Tab right and (under the "JOIN IN" label) click on "Destiny".

    5. If your friend is listed, skip to step 10.

    6. Click on "Invite more".

    7. Select your friend.

    8. Click invite to game or Part & Game.

    9. Refresh the friends app by pressing "B" to back out, and then go back in.

    10. Find your friend and click his name.

    11. Click join.

    12. Click game.
