My friend can't hear me on xbox live anymore.

I've had a friend who's recently moved houses, he set his xbox up and we were playing for a few days and everything was all good. All off a sudden he can't hear me but he can hear everyone else on xbox. I also can hear him fine.

Can anyone help me out with some possible answers on how to fix this?

- When I don't talk for about 5 minutes whilst in a game with him then talk he can hear me for about 2 seconds then he can't hear anything again.

Friend can't be unmuted.

My friend can't be unmute. I've tried reseting my xbox and it won't let me hear her in the Xbox live party.

 

Can hear friends, but friends can't hear me

When I go into a party I can hear my friends, but they can't hear me. I am not muted and when I checked my NAT type it says it's open. I tested the mic on my computer(both skype and the xbox app), and my phone and it works fine on
there. I also tried all my controllers and none of them are working. I had this problem with two mics the turtle beach xo ones and the Astros A10(which I just got). Any ideas why this is happening and how to fix this problem? Thanks

 

Did you try to let someone else host the party and see if that fixes it?

 

When someone else hosts the party and we're both in the party, he'll get kicked from the party, but if I'm not in the party it's fine. It's seems to only be conflict between us two

I have some ideas, but don't have a fix for You right now. Can You check what type of NAT You and Your friend has right now?

@zanswerlive Haha yes it's very strange. I just don't understand how we can go from hearing each other to the next day where i can hear him and he can't hear me

When he changed location, is his ISP stay the same or he got new?

 

@zanswerlive - He got new one. But it was fine for the first few weeks.. He could hear me fine until it just randomly stopped

Ok, I'm just trying to find some explanation, sometimes only like that we can find root of the problem. Did He got new modem/router from his ISP? If so, did he try to restart/reset it to factory defaults?

 

@zanswerlive - He moved in with a friend, modem has always been there, I can ask him to reset it to factory defaults and see what happens from there, can only hope!

@BiggsHD - Please keep in mind that the process to test the behavior of your NAT makes no attempt to test every relevant facet. In fact, it's purpose is to try and answer a very simple question; How commonly can the techniques that is used in this operation,
be expected to work with your NAT, and under "typical" network conditions.

I think it would be better if you can bring your friend to the forums, to post in your thread, providing details such as; The make and model of your router, as well as your modem. If any of you connect more than one Xbox console to the same router Internet
connection.

Provide these details, and people who are trying to help should have a better understanding of you and your friends situation.
