my friend cant buy games on the xbox webside by using xbox gift codes that you buy in stores

In order to purchase 360 content when your Microsoft account balance, you have to make the purchase on a 360 console.

Did you gift a code to a friend out of region and they couldnt.consumr.it because he is out of region

If it is the above then the digital refund policy doesn't apply

The mS store policy does and you have to contact them

If you gifted a card to someone yes as long as they couldnt redeem it it can be refunded

If you bought a code from a third party vendor then no it can't be refunded

But you cant buy a xbox code directly as it would.be put directly onto your account

I am sorry, but can you be little more specific with "a gift card of the subscription with the "Worldwide" tag" I got xbox just few days and I'm afraid that i didn't get this. My friend is in Argentina, he gave me some game codes as a gift, but when I tried to buy some gifts in console store for him I get same issues with region. Also I've tried to buy gift on xbox store from PC and get the same error.

I think the main trouble is in currency of my debit card, because address of my microsoft account and region of store are the same. Is "a gift card of the subscription with the "Worldwide" tag" means that somewhere I can buy gift codes with no issues?

Thats because you cant use currency cards

You need to buy ms store GIFT CARDs which are meant for ms store

Not xbox store

Ms rewards doesnts pay out ms store gift cards

Xbox store and ms store are conpletely different divisions

If your friend lives in the UK for example, you can buy a gift for him from the UK Xbox store by using Xbox gift card only "Microsoft Balance"
