My free gamertag change is used up?

so, as you can see my name puts me in tough situations most times. Whether it's not being listened to because the name is dumb (it actually happens to me) or just looking at it and regretting it almost everytime I log on. The bottom line is I hate my gamertag
and want to change it. But according to Xbox I've already used my free change? Ive never used it and I am thinking that it disappearing has something to o with my console being stolen. Am I forced to buy another change or can Xbox help in any way?

You are incorrect. Back then there were NOT any free gamertag changes. I was never given a free gamertag change. All you need to do is check my account and you'll see.

There is a fee,you will not get to change your tag for free as you have already used the one time free name change.

 

You have already exercised your right for a free change as you picked your current gtag against the automatic one appointed by default when you signed in xbox live.

If you wish to change your gtag you have to pay a fee.

You can easily change your Xbox gamertag. If your gamertag was created for you when you initially signed up for Xbox (meaning you did not choose it yourself), you can change it one time for free. Additional
Xbox gamertag changes cost extra.

If you created your own gamertag at signup and want to change it, you will be charged (fee varies by region and currency).

Also the free gamertag change (original first one) does expire after 30 days of the account being created.
