My Forza Horizon 5 save is intermingled with my other friend's Forza Horizon 5 account in Steam

I know that this is the microsoft support area and not steam, however when I went to the Forza Motorsport Support page, they told me I should request assistance from Microsoft or Steam since they mainly dealt with ingame issues, not account or outside game issues. I had bought my friend Forza Horizon 5 for his birthday on steam and he really enjoyed it. Me and him share libraries on steam using Steam Library Sharing so I decided to use his library and try playing Forza Horizon 5 for myself. When I did, I loved the game and decided to buy it myself so I could play the game with him too since we cant both play it at the same time using the Steam Library Sharing. Basically, now whenever I open the game, me and my friend's Forza Horizon 5 saves are intermingled, as in, when I look at my friends list, I can see my friend in the list, but he has the exact same car, exact same level, exact same place, and whenever I try inviting him to the convoy it just doesnt work and say "I am already in a convoy with myself". (For reference, my username is ironmansorbet and his username is SaltySaladLol). On his end, he sees the exact same thing (same car, same level, same place). Im assuming this has to do with the library sharing and want to ask if theres any way I can keep my progress on this steam account and unmingle it from my friend's Forza Horizon 5 save.

This is most likely a Steam issue and not Microsoft, as it is regarding Steam Library Sharing and has nothing to do with your Microsoft account(s) or data. I would recommend that you stop sharing libraries for now and see if the issue is resolved, as well as reach out to Steam support for further instruction on making sure your data saves do not intermingle.

i dont play others game

i think this because i played forza horizon 5 with my friend microsoft account(xbox app is my account) before i buy it on steam. And now maybe the xbox think im own forza in microsoft store,

so every time i want join friend ini xbox, it bring me to forza page at microsoft store

It is possible, my friend. Please try to look at C:\Users\YOUR USER\Saved Games\Forza Horizon 5. See if there is any save there.

Yes. Other games are OK.

Forza horizon 4 is OK too. But I bought it.

And Forza horizon 5 uses Game Pass.

I can start Forza 5 on my PC, can not start on Xbox serious S.

Forza Horizon 5 does NOT have any announced or planned cross-progression from Forza Horizon 4. Aside from Forza Horizon 1 (which did had loyalty rewards for Forza Motorsport titles), there has never been cross-progression for Forza Horizon titles. You always had to start fresh with each game.

And about Forza Horizon 4: the lack of possibility to use the same save between Steam and Microsoft Store comes from the technical point of the each game. Both use a wholly different methods of saving which is far too much work to make them co-operate, ESPECIALLY considering that Forza Horizon 4 is way past its' prime.
