my forza horizon 3 profile is invalid

I try using my Forza Horizon 3 $10 promo code but it keeps telling me it's invalid?

After buying the game "Forza Horizon 3" in xbox live and trying to start it, the following message appears: "Invalid profile. Delete it from the xbox menu and create a new one ". Is there any solution ??
