My first week with Xbox was a nightmare

Me and my brother was too bored from PC and PS4 Pro. And I insisted my brother to pass Xbox Series and buy ourselves 2 years of Xbox Game Pass.

But my brother was too suspicious about because we never had one.

Anyways. We bought 1 XSS (for my brother because he didn't trusted) and 1 XSX for me.

At the beginning he impressed from Gamepass. Library is too good to be true. But after that every experience become a nightmare.

First he tried his headsets. Then realized Xbox only compatible with a few wireless headsets! That SUCKS! My brothers wireless Razer and Logitech headsets become a trash.

After that we found an old 3.5 mm Logitech G633 headset and plugged it on controller. And another time he shocked. Because even we plugged headset to controller and Xbox works with it, sound is still coming from TV too.

Guys that SUCKS. I This is just a minute for a real developer for blocking 2 ways of sound. Even iPhone 5 can do it.

Anyways, we played game for a while but then realized another ****. If we play with headsets controller run out of battery too fast. I said "Calm down we can buy chargeable batteries". After that we bought 2 batteries.

Day by day Series S started to find us another problem. 3rd day it was full of games (300 GB) and my brother wanted to use an external drive because he wanted to play Microsoft Flight Simulator. He always liked flying games and it is the best and completely free for now.

First he cannot downloaded 100 GB. We bought an 2 TB USB drive and then realized we cannot play games on it and only storage on them. That SUCKS TOO. Barely we downloaded MS and remembered another Xbox disease. Xbox is not working with my Logitech Extreme 3D Joystick.

Maybe u say, yes some of them is also problems on PS and PC but I never remembered so many issues on them. His steering wheel, 2 wireless headsets, 1 wired USB headset, Logitech Joystick, external drives vs. nothing works with it.

3 days of a Xbox Series cost my brother 1 battery, 1 trash external drive and returned to PC gaming.

The point he wonder is PC's software is too powerful and Xbox OS is the poorest and both are designed by same company.

I think so called genius Phil believing in too much for Gamepass and xCloud and never think about software of Xbox anymore. That box is compatible with nothing. I call it "Can't Box Series S"

By the way, most of gamepass games are looking like each other. Gears series, Outriders, Crackdown, Destiny, Doom etc. a Sci-Fi guy with non stop action. Another type is RPG like Fallout, We Happy Few, Outer Worlds etc. (I know about Bethesda and Obsidian)

I believe gamepass needs more open world realistic games like RDR 2 or Ghost of Tsushima. Assassin's Creed Origins or Odyssey, Watch Dogs 2, Far Cry 5 or Ghost Recon Wildlands are Ubisoft alternatives. If you don't like Ubisoft repeating games, Mafia series, Witcher 3 or maybe Cyberpunk if you believe in project too much.
