My first account uses an email address that i can no longer access, and is currently blocked.

This account i am currently using was made after i found out about the first one's blocking. Basically, My first account, eliteninja23, uses an email address that i can no longer use, and i can't log into my account any more because of it. I haven't been
on that account for about a year, and i didn't care about it that much up until i found out that most of the data for games like halo, and the ability to play xbox live arcade games, is stored on my account, not the hard drive. I've tried filling out the account
recovery form, but i haven't used the email address in so long that i can't remember any friends on the account, or what the most recent email was about, or who it was sent to. As a side note, the account was shared. Basically, i want the associated email
address for eliteninja23, my first account, to be the same as the one for the account i am currently using, or any other solution along those lines.

Blocked Email

My name is Suhperior i no longer have access to this email address, the company blocked my email because we switched emails. I dont know what the alternate email is, can i get some help please?

Trying to switch email addresses

Wow. This is tedious.

Basically, I have two accounts. One of them is an old account I used for my Xbox (which I no longer have) and is called Alabama619. This account uses the same email address I use for regular emails and login info for almost every website/service -
[MOD REMOVED] The other account is one I created for Games for Windows LIVE use on my PC called , which uses an email address
[MOD REMOVED]

However, the [MOD REMOVED]email account is now closed (I physically cannot access it) so I want to put my
[MOD REMOVED] email address FROM my Alabama619 account onto my account. Sounds easy? You're wrong.

The alternative email addresses for both accounts are also redundant. Alabama619 uses the
[MOD REMOVED] one and uses [MOD REMOVED] Both of these are redundant and I can't access either. So when I try to close the Alabama619 account to free up the
[MOD REMOVED] email address, it sends a confirmation email to a redundant email address.

I just want my valid email address on my gamertag. How can this be done? It seems impossible!

You could try contacting phone support and see if they can help you to access the account, provided that you can verify your ownership of the account. Then you should be able to update the profile information. 1-800-4MY-XBOX for US and Canada, or

My xbox console account is under an old email address I no longer have access to. My current email address is connected to a random tag: VehementWord701. I have no idea how to update the email address of my real gammertag without getting a 'That name is already taken' error.

I appreciate the response, however, the challenge with that form is:

Ultimately, because I do not have access to the original email account any longer, I don't have reasonable avenues to recover my account. I am absolutely at fault for not having access to the email any longer, however, the forced migration and its failure doesn't rest on my shoulders. Just a poor customer experience is all.

Ok so I am trying to recover two different accounts.

The first account is so old that I am pretty sure it was before that verification email requirement.

The second account is slightly newer and the primary email is an old college email address which I no longer have access to but on the bright side I have access to the secondary email and when I tried the recovery process trying to use my student email as
the primary and using the secondary for the recovery it still did not work.
