My Final Verdict On Titanfall

I am surprised people are not waiting for the retail release of the game before making final judgement, because we all know judging something on a demo or controlled beta is not the same as judging the final product, well that's what people say on these
forums usually...

 

@Wilko In most of those cases people were bashing the game based on demo's and beta's. Beta's tend to be rougher around the edges than the release version. If retail Titanfall is as fun as this beta I'll be a happy camper.

 

Beta's tend to perform better due to less people hitting the servers...

 

^ You must not have been playing it then because as soon as it went public the servers crashed harder then a sack of rocks but once they got it back up and tweak for the increase of players it was fine.

 

Are EA running the servers?

 

^Not my experience. Every shooter I've played the beta, possibly with the exception of the BF series thanks to EA never having enough servers at launch, has been better at launch.

 

No EA are not. Its using MS's servers.

 

I hope people enjoy the game, but it's not for me....

 

Like some of the others posted above, I don't really play a lot of online FPS games anymore (guess Halo burned me out back in the day haha) But I found the beta to be surprisingly fun!

The greatest thing as any skill level can pretty much jump in and have a good time rather your new to shooters or a hardcore online gamer. I'll definitely be picking this up next month!

 

Beta's are always either worse or the same as the final build. The final build is never worse than the beta. For someone that isn't interested in the game, you sure seem to post a lot about it.
