My Final Verdict On Titanfall

I have been on the fence about this game for some time and one of things that really concerned me before playing the alpha/beta was how the addition of A.I. would affect the game play. On my first play through I was
disappointed to find out how easy they were to kill. It felt like Titanfall was going to be just another shooter. I started playing more and more and then it all made sense. The A.I. bots are meant to be a decoy. When your capturing an objective and an enemy
pilot comes in guns blazing shooting bots you take em out. Sure the bots don't put up much of a challenge now, but they are cloud powered meaning they should be able to learn on the fly (things can be tweaked). Another really good thing about this game is
that there is virtually no skill gap, meaning anyone can play and have a great time. I could be getting my butt kicked in gun on gun combat, but then I spawn a Titan and have a chance to turn the game around. Just losing a round can be so much fun too when
you're trying to hold the opposing team back, while attempting to extract from the battlefield. So long story short, I have a sudden change of heart about this game. Titanfall is going to be a worthy PC/Xbox exclusive title.

BF3 £24.99 at Sainsburys.....

I played the beta and hated it,so i looked on the forum to see the verdict on the final version and there are not to many good comments just complaints.

 

Hipfiring crosshair... YOU SERIOUS?

Wow. How did I not notice that on the vidoc? Anyways, I am not going to cast any verdict until I play the final product. I hate when people do that.

 

I agree with you that it's a very worthy exclusive title based on what I've been hearing and it's been very well received which makes me happy.

However it's still not for me, happy for everyone else that it's giving them such enjoyment. Games like Castlevania LoS 2 and Thief will be doing that for me.

 

I enjoyed the beta. Thought they did a great job. Was too fast pace for me personally, but I can see how others would like it. Personally I like time to react before getting one shot from 3 sides at once. I liked the last titan standing the best but
was still too fast and the maps seemed like they shoulda been bigger. With 15sec travel time between hard points it was all zerg and no strategy. I also disklike maps with 3 capture and defend points, it should always be 3/5 not 2/3 to win. I will check
it out again after launch maybe as a campaign mode would be much funner for me but getting south park which is only on 360 instead. Guess my one will collect some more dust for a bit. Will not even play ESO on Xbox after wanting to because it is such a raw
deal compared to PC and they wont let you do both.

 

I got to play a little bit of Titanfall. I thought it was really neat, but I would prefer more human players and larger maps.

 

I generally don't like MP. I'm not good at it. In fact, I suck. I'll play a bit with friends, or maybe go after some achievements, but that's about it. I was planning on getting Titanfall because all my friends are getting it. But I wasn't particularly
excited about it.

That is, until I played the beta. This is hands down the most fun I've ever had with a mutliplayer game. So many "Xbox record that" moments happen in every match. The level of my excitement for this game has gone from non existent, to almost rivaling that
of The Witcher 3.

 

I played it yesterday it was satisfying but nothing ground breaking i was hoping for...

 

Awesome game.

Calling down your Titan from a low planetary orbit is epic.

The guns feel and handle amazing. The Titans and their weapons feel awesome.

I haven't had this much fun since the original "Gears Of War".

 

One of my most anticipated games this year.

 

Now that you said this i am tempted to give the beta a try.
