    My Far Cry purchase is not showing up


    I purchased Far Cry 6 on December 13, 2024, and put 63 hours into the game. I also upgraded to Far Cry 6 Gold Edition today because it was on sale. I haven't played it in a few months and decided I was going to play today, but it's not showing up on my Xbox PC app. On one screen in the Xbox PC app, it shows that Far Cry 6 is already installed. But when I click on the game, it takes me to the Far Cry 6 page on the Xbox PC app, and the green button that should say 'Play' or 'Install' says 'Play With Game Pass'. After seeing that, I went to Xbox.com website to confirm I owned Far Cry 6, and it shows that I do on the Far Cry 6 page and through my order history. After checking that, I checked the Ubisoft Connect app, and it shows that the game is installed, but I don't own it.

    I've tried unlink and relink the Xbox app to Ubisoft Connect, and that didn't change anything. I don't know what else to try. I've provided images of everything I've described.

    Yes, you would have been playing it through Game Pass, not through your purchase.

    I've played it on my pc when I bought it back in December. Is it possible that I was able to play on PC before because I had PC Game Pass?

    I didn't realize it was 2 different versions on Xbox PC app. I didn't specify that when I purchased it. Thank you for your help and quick reply.

    The one you purchased is for console, not PC. You would need the PC version to play on PC.
