    My email logs to a different account


    This is a problem I have since my account got hacked July of 2022, but since Microsoft team doesn't want to help me, I ask if someone else had or is having the same problem

    In my case, when I log in with my email, it logs to an account that it's not mine, I has another name, another personal information, but my phone number, but using another account I have, I could see that my account was still there

    When I see at my friends list on Xbox Live, it has my name and profile picture, but I don't have access to it, when I see the Xbox Live account linked to the account my email logs in, it has another name

    I already talked to Microsoft team but they did nothing, I even had bought one of their products, Minecraft, I had the payment ticket, all the proofs that the account was mine, but they didn't help me

    I just wanted to make this public, to see others opinion and see if Microsoft wants to help me this time

    I understand and empathize with what you are feeling right now, but we have covered all of the options for recovering your account. Please understand that Microsoft takes your security very seriously, but to protect customer privacy we can’t do anything to an account beyond helping customers verify their ownership through the steps we’ve already provided. I encourage you to keep trying to recover your account using the methods we’ve tried if you remember any new details that might help or if you can recover emails from contacts you know, but it may be time to consider creating a new account instead. If you would like, I would be happy to help you create a new account and give you some tips that will help prevent this from happening again.

    Once again, thank you for your patience throughout the review process. Microsoft takes customer security and privacy very seriously and is committed to protecting your personal information.

    I understand your frustration but unfortunately there is nothing else that can be done by support until you are able to verify that you are the account owner through the methods we covered.     Thanks for trying to help, but I can't do the ACSR because I don't know the email that is linked to my original account

    I would obviously have tried to do ACSR but since I don't have the email I can't do nothing

    I already tried asking Microsoft team if they could link my original account to another email, but they just didn't care very much

    And again, I have proof of everything my account has, I have proofs enough for they to give me my account back, it's just that they don't want to help me

    We understand the inconvenience caused. As per description, you wanted to recover your Microsoft account which you mentioned was hacked.



    We would like to inform you at the beginning that Microsoft account recovery is managed by a completely automated server, and we do not have manual access to it. Microsoft takes the security and privacy of our customers very seriously. We are committed to protecting your personal information, and the meticulous account recovery process is intended to protect you from any possible malicious activity. For now, please allow me to do the best we can in helping you with the process.

    First, we would suggest you fill up the ACSR form and make sure you provide an alternate email address when you fill up the ACSR form so that the team can communicate with you. Help with the Microsoft account recovery form

    The more information you can include in the form, the better the chance you’ll have of regaining access to your account. Answer as many questions as you can as thoroughly as possible. If you’re not sure, guessing is ok - wrong answers don’t count against you.



    When you enter your email address, keep in mind that some domains may be country specific such as @outlook.co.uk. If you’ve had your account for several years, the details on file may not match your current situation, so think about what you may have entered when you first signed up. Is it possible that you moved or changed your name? Think about passwords that you use on other accounts that you may have used here. This is another place where a good guess can pay off. When you get to a question that lets you “add more," fill in as much information as you are able. Email subject lines need to be exact.

    It's been almost one year since I have been hacked, there is no information I didn't used to try recovering my account

    And creating a new account is not an option for me, I spent money on one of your games (4, considering Pocket, Windows 10 and PS4 editions) and that's money I have lost, this because you wanted to move Mojang accounts to Microsoft

    I've been trying to buy the game since 2011, limited by the money, I could only play it cracked, until 2019 when I was finally able to buy it, then buying the other 3 editions

    I won't just create a new account like nothing happened, it was really hard to me lose something I spent not only money, I spent half of my life wanting to get

    I just want you to give more attention to my case, because I have all the proofs that the account is mine
