So i made my account back in 2012 when i was 7 and back then i didn't had a email adress so i used my father's one but now i have my own email adress and i would like to change my account email adress to mine and i am trying since 1 or 2 month....so i
really need your help.

Hello, recently i have to reset my xbox one to default but in the progress i lost the e mail i create just for that, i dont remember that e mail adress. The only thing i remember is my gamer tag, theres any solution? thanks

In order to change your login email on your account please visit our Manage Alias site. There you will be asked to login, then
verify the new email you are going to use before setting it as your main.

 

And another thing before i do it . I already have a xbox account with the email adress althought i didn't want to so how do i cancels it ?

In order to change out the primary email for a gamertag to another one, the gamertag has to be removed. If there is a gamertag attached to the email, then it will only allow the new email to be connected to the gamertag as a secondary email instead of a
primary email.

Basically, it is going to be like musical chairs. Move each of the gamertags to another email to free the email. Create an account that will not be used on a daily basis. Move the gamertag from the email that is going to be used. Then it will free up the
email to use with the main gamertag.
