My email address has been compromised

Right, I've waited for only so long and I can't take it any more. I'm a patient guy, but of all things considered- this is effing ridiculous.

Here's my problem: At some point back say, 1-2 years ago? After a brief spell of absence from signing in to my main email address, I wanted to sign in one day only to be met with a message that told me that my password was not correct, and after suspicion
and a quick Google session I came upon people with similar problems: that their accounts have been compromised and/or hacked.

Knowing my behaviour and history- with real honesty: I asked myself... what in the hell just happened? I could not think for the life of me why I had just been kicked out of my account. There was literally no way for me to get it back. I tried to using my
pathetic memory, although to be fair if Microsoft expects you to remember every single god-damn account detail, then I don't know what else.

My account question? The one thing I thought would get me through? My first family pet, guess what? I couldn't remember. Nothing of my concern before, because before I never had this problem. Only when it happened- it just happened like that. JUST. LIKE.
THAT. I didn't get a proper, coherent explanation as to why my account was literally taken away from me and I had to take it at heart that I had just been *** over by unknown forces.

Thanks to this crap, I now have an account I can only sign into on my Xbox 360 WITHOUT Xbox Live and the poxy internet wire. I can't communicate with my old live friends, send and/or receive messages. All of my memory on that account as far as multi-player
unlocks and the likes is utterly pointless. DLC? Out of the question. All that money I invested on THAT ONE account is now and seemingly forever gone.

With that in mind, I asked myself- is there a way to transfer all DLC downloads/game saves/memory, etc from my games and other purchases to my new account. My new account is just fine, but with that I had to start all over.

Since I know I'll never get my account back, because I don't have access to my account information that was swept from underneath the carpet for no good real reason, I just wanted hope in knowing if I could at-least not start everything all over again.

For example: I am playing Fallout New Vegas on my old account, I have saves, etc- no DLC content stored. I started the save file before all this crap happened- Only, I want to add DLC to the game, however... since I am far into the game and do not want to
start all over again on my new account. See, because I can't download DLC to my old account because, you know- I was kicked out of it- at-least now I can't play live on it...

To cut things short: I don't want to begin a new save file on my new account because I'm too far in the game on my old one. I want to transfer that save file from one account to another- and I want to know if that is possible. I want to do this with other
games I currently play. What's worse is that this game does not have multi-player, and I'd only want to extend my playtime- but, as it seems getting kicked out of your email address forbids you from ever getting to properly renew and use your live account
again and this- any other features with it: marketplace.

Sucks, right? What's worse is that after this crap, I got a notification when attempting to sign into my old account on the console that I needed to type in my email address and password for... wait... for it- I kid you not- it made me laugh:
"security reasons". Yeah.

I'd like an answer, and not a subtle "sorry, but we can't do that". From a Microsoft official. That is, if you guys haven't forgotten about the Xbox 360. Any takers?

I'm trying to understand your post, so please forgive me if I misunderstood any part of it.

You don't have access to the email that your Microsoft account is tied to as it was compromised a year or two ago.

You have recently tried to log into you Microsoft account with that email and the password you set up, and are unable to.

You've gone through all the Support steps offered on the site to try to recover your account with no luck? Like this one for example:

support.xbox.com/.../forgot-microsoft-account-solution

If you've gone through all the online support options to try to gain access to your original account, the next step is to work with phone support to see if they can help you gain access to your account. They will be able to see more personal details on the
account than anyone. Keep in mind, they are going to ask you a number of questions to make sure you are the owner of the account.

As HomegrownSilky mentioned, digital content (purchases, and such) cannot be transferred between accounts. Some games will allow you to transfer game saves, but the new account will not be able to earn any achievements from that game save. That option varies
by the developer.

No, I know my actual email address and my actual password for the account I'm referring to. I didn't change them. On "hotmail.com", I tried to sign in on my computer to THAT account and was unable to. I was met with a message that I cannot remember, but
it mentioned something about my account being flagged/or blocked or comprised or whatever. Whenever I try to sign into it now, I'm met with a red sub-text that tells me that I put in the wrong password.

It's not the wrong password. Thanks to Microsoft's Xbox-Live account Security notification, it blocked me from automatically signing into my account on the console. I knew what I was in for the moment the notification asked me to confirm my email address
and password. It was essentially a pop-up barrier that still occurs whenever I try to sign into it.

... Then I tried something with a code. Blah blah blah, it asked me if I wanted to send some information to an older email address to confirm something. (The older email address looked like this on the screen:

I still don't know what it was.

It sounds like either someone accessed your account and changed the password and such or there is a security proof added that you didn't add. If you don't know what that other email is (as in, you never put it on your account), contact Support and work with
them to recover your account. They will be able to see more account details on the back end. You can reach phone support by going here:
