My elite controller shows I'm pressing L stick when I'm not

Hi, I noticed i had issues caused whenever i navigated the Xbox menu it would skip a lot. Then I read somewhere that it happens wheb your sticks or bumpers are being pressed.

I went to test my controller and yes, it shows like the left stick is being pressed, even though it's not, and no, it's not stuck, if I want to i can actually press it and I can feel/hear it being pressed.

Please tell me there's a fix, this is my 5th elite, these controllers work like they are actually cheap ffs.. They are expensive disposable controllers

Hi.

Unfortunately this is a very common issue with this controller, I'd get in contact with Xbox support (I had to do this myself) however if you don't have warranty anymore I wouldn't count on getting it fixed.

The game I'm playing rn doesn't necessarily need that button to be pressed, I can go without.. But I was thinking about taking it somewhere and see if it can get fixed since I'm out of warranty..

Best buy where I live stopped doing warranties for elite controllers.. I wonder why... [Mod Removed- Inappropriate]

It is really unfortunate that elite controllers are so faulty! I hope the next gen aren't as awful. The cost doesn't match the quality

For now I'm unmapping it so it wont skip the menu.

I hope I don't play anything that requires me pressing that stick anytime soon..
