My downloadable content didn't transfer

i went on the website to put in the code for my far cry 4 dlc and the website said it was okay. I check on my Xbox storage it turns out it wasn't there.then I tried downloading it again by putting the code in again over the Xbox and it said that the code
was already used not now I don't know how to get it back. Please reply soon

if my account got suspended can i transfer downloadable content to a new xbox or will i have to re buy them

Refurbished Xbox 360 will only allow main profile access to downloaded games.

You need to do a licence transfer.

Try redownloading it from your download history -

This might sound obvious too but it's worth a shot.

Find it in the marketplace and see if there's an option to install.

It might be purchased just not queued.

When you download content it's tied to the gamertag that purchased it and the console it was purchased on. The console license is what allows all profiles to access the content. If you switch consoles, the license transfer would move the console license
to the new console and should allow all the profiles to access the content again. Go to
https://xbox.com/drm to start a license transfer. If it shows the licenses being on a different console, then you either didn't do a license transfer before or it didn't work.

You can download content onto a flashdrive, yes, but it needs to be in a console in the first place. You can not download Marketplace content from a PC and then transfer it to a console.

support.xbox.com/.../download-content But you cant transfer the licenses online as you wouldn't be transferring the licenses to anything.

You would want to do a license transfer before redownloading content. If you download then transfer, you'll be force to download the content again. It will admittedly go faster, but it is still smarter (if you have to download) to do the transfer first.

Sure, but nowhere in the 360 Transfer Cable instructions does it inform you of the need to re-download any content by the purchaser in order for other profiles assigned to the new console to access what they were able to before. I'm sure that many others
unnecessarily purchased content that they didn't have to because of this glaring omission in the details, safeguarded by a strict no-refund policy...
