    My download speed is running at 0.00mbs


    Just wondering if anyone has a solution to my xbox reading at 0.00mbs? I can play online games and talk to friends, but as soon as i try watch something that involves streaming it just doesn't load, this is so frustrating not being able to watch any movies
    or tv shows!! If i connect my phone to the same network via WiFi i have no problem watching anything or using internet which means it must be a xbox problem.

    %100 packet loss

    When i check my network status it says %100 packet loss 0.00mb download speed and 0.00 upload speed (wired) I don't have this problem wireless but wireless is too slow. Also this prevents me from playing online but doesn't stop me from watching netflix.?

    XBOX LIVE - INTENTIONAL SPEED CAP

    I just noticed that xbox live is intentionally capping its downloads speeds to half of my internet speed.

    I ran several speedtests on various websites and my internet is running at peak performance.

    So I look at the download graph in my router while downloading a demo, zune update, streaming Black Ops 2 trailer, GOW Judgement trailer, & arcade game download.

    ALL CAPPED AT THE EXACTLY SAME SPEED.

    When doing test several weeks ago..... download speeds where at maxing out my internet speed. So something has changed on MICROSOFT's side.

    The stupid thing about it is that MICROSOFT set a speed cap so LOW that their BLACK OP 2 & GOW JUDGEMENT trailer are all BUFFERING... BUFFERING.... BUFFERING.....

    Somebody really dropped the ball at MICRoSOFT.

    Just to add... i test my speed by download Windows 7 SP1 off the Microsoft website... and its NOT CAPPED. Maxing out my internet speed.

    Unfortunately it still hasnt worked. It has shown that it has been bought and downloaded in my games and apps section of the xbox but does not appear to be downloaded in the game. Still says downloading 0.00Mb.

    Slow Downloads?

    How large is the game? That along with the download speed will determine the time required to download the game. However, you will probably not achieve the full 60Mbps download speed.

    You can speed the download up some by running wired instead of wireless and by not using your console while the download is running.

    Yes, resume the download after running the code and check the speed.

    If there is no change in speed, please run the following command at command prompt (Administrator)

    netsh winsock reset

    (Pause the download before running above code)

    Resume the download after this.

    This is the unfortunate reality of Microsoft downloads. I have 500Mbps internet which I can prove by running speed tests, downloading from other sources like Steam, etc but when I download from the Windows 10 Store (Gamepass games) my speeds run at around
    70-100mbps and sometimes even slower.
