    ..........

Hello everyone My download speed is absolute garbage! :)

    .........

My download speed is absolute garbage!

    .......

The fastest that I've seen my download speed reach is 21 mbps. This speed rarely happends and it doesn't stay here for long.

    .........

My fastest common download speed is 17 mbps, this stays longer than the 21 mbps but again dips down to slower speeds.

    .........

My common download speed is 12 mbps, it doesn't get any slower than this and this is what I typically get.

    .........

Xbox One is connected to the internet by Wi-Fi.

I have 4 out of 4 Wi-Fi signal strenght indication bars thanks to my Wi-Fi Range Extender device.

I have 1 out of 3 Wi-Fi signal strenght indication bars without my Wi-Fir Range Extender.

I need a 100 feet Ethernet Cable to directly connect my Xbox One to the Modem.

Using a 100 foot Ethernet Cable is a tripping hazzard.

    ...........

It takes me a little over 1 hour to download 4.4 GBs

    ............

It takes me 3 1 / 2 hours to 4 hours to download 27 GBs

    .............

I do not have any problems playing Destiny with my internet connection, it is the downloading digital games part that I have issue with My download speed is absolute garbage! :(

    ...........

    What is your Download Speed?

    ...........

Have a nice day or afternoon or night everyone My download speed is absolute garbage! :)

    ...........

    :)

    download speed is garbage

If you're not so desperate for what you're downloading, then you can let it download over the night while the Xbox is turned off. You go to the System tab, click on system>Console settings>Start up and Shutdown, then click enable. After that, turn off your
Xbox, (it won't fully turn off) you'll notice that the green light will be flashing. But the game will download at a speed of 1/4 than when the Xbox is on... So, it won't be fast, but I can assure you it would finish downloading through the night. My internet
is waaaaay more slower than yours, and I downloaded BioShock Infinte (6.50 GB) with that method.

  6. Unfortunately Lei a lot of people are in the same situation but like Badger said can you not contact your broadband provider and see if they offer a better service?

If not, are there any better broadband providers you could go with?

If "No" to the above then again, unfortunately you and others have this problem but there's ways to make life a little easier and others have suggested these before...

Like I suggested, to save waiting about on bigger files, why not put these on to download before going to bed?

With disc games and updates, install the disc while offline, then connect to do any updates. Others have said this helps speed things up

    Good luck

Hello "Old Lofty" My download speed is absolute garbage! :)

    .......

Unfortunately, the answer to your question is no My download speed is absolute garbage! :(

    .........

The problem isn't the ISP Provider, the problem is that my Game Room too is far from the Modem and me having a 100 foot Ethernet Cable on the stairs is dangerous My download speed is absolute garbage! :(

    ..........

An Ethernet Cable connection would fix my problems My download speed is absolute garbage! :)

    ..........

I primarily use Game Disc to install my games and I install the updates after the disc content have been installed My download speed is absolute garbage! :)

I only download games digitally when there is no other choice to get the game.

    .........

Have a nice day or afternoon or night "Old Lofty" My download speed is absolute garbage! :)

Hello "gds1972" My download speed is absolute garbage! :)

    ..........

A Homeplug is already in use, but unfortunately It is going on the opposite direction of the Game Room and the Modem can only support one Homeplug at a time.

I wouldn't be too annoyed by your download speed, I personally think its nothing to do with your setup and more to do with Microsoft.

Recently an update for Ark Survival was released, it weighed in at 27 GB, I got home at about six o'clock in the evening and I was getting 37Mb a sec up until about 9 oclock, at which point it plummeted to about 4Mb a second.

I think that the reason for this is that basically the East coast of America some online (kids coming home from school etc)

I could be wrong, but for me it sounds plausible.

those speeds are atrocious, many people around the world and mainly in rural area's get at least 30% of your speed, this has to be a classic first world problem if i have ever seen one, but lucky me in the UK i get unlimited fibre My download speed is absolute garbage! :)

    40.66 Mbps

    -

    14.03 Upload speed

    -

    0% packet loss, Latency:26ms, Wireless strength 100%

My provider is upgrading me today to hopefully achieve 125+ Mbps download speed; unlimited data usage in my plan.
