    My diffuser leaked water on my Xbox and it instantly turned off.


    Hello, last night my essential oil diffuser leaked at most a few tablespoons of water on top of my xbox, I did not realize until my console shut off. I tried powering it on once a day later and it instantly shut back off. I am leaving it out to dry right now and have no power connected to it, I was just wondering if it’s worth the effort to try and save it or is it already done for?

    In some cases the console can be repaired… if you’re willing to do it.
    Please get the console inspected in the closest authorized retailer or where original parts are used to see if something can be done.

    And please leave the console disconnected until you can get it serviced. To avoid more damage

    This generic solution is not applicable here as the the device won't even turn on. It switches off automatically within fraction of seconds after turning on. So definitely it is not a power supply issue. Secondly, I turned it on after 3 days today. So
    over heating scenario is also ruled out.

    water almost instantly corrodes electronics, especially if you turn it on

    Can you see anything at all? What kind of Xbox? Where did the water land?
