My design lab controller rewards offer.

I see that between December 1st and 17th if you purchase a my Design Lab controller you earn 15,000 rewards points. I want to give a digital code as a gift so that my friend can design their own controller, I want to gift it to them at Christmas, if I purchase
the code for the controller before the end of December 17th would I still get the rewards points? Or does it have to be purchased and shipped before the 17th?

Today a promotion for Microsoft Rewards is going on that if you purchase a Design Labs controller, you receive 5,000 Microsoft Rewards points.

I purchased a Design Labs controller yesterday, and was wondering if I could have these points added.

Yes, you can receive the credits for purchasing a code. The program would go off of when you purchase the code instead of when the controller ships.
