    I recently got my new debit mastercard in the mail and was wondering if i am able to purchase games, add-ons, XBL gold, etc... with it? Anybody have any answers for me?

    I've had my debit card on there for like 5 years and never had an issue.

    Credit cards. Be careful all of you debit card users. Credit cards are insured, debit cards are not.

    It should be absolutely fine.

    Provided it allows international purchases (which is only really an issue with pre-paid cards rather than debit cards), then you should not encounter any difficulties using this card on Xbox Live.

    I can't download Far Cry 2 games with gold.

    Unfortunately my Mastercard credit card wont work. My debit card thru mastercard also wont work. I also tried linking my Pay pal. All say invalid payment method to download the game.

    you can also use a bank debit card as long as it has a CC logo like Visa or Mastercard.
