    My daughter's profile doesn't get access to gold ultimate


    Hi,

    I hope someone can help. My son has just received and Xbox series X for Christmas and I have moved his old Xbox one into my daughter's room. I have kept my son's profile on the Xbox one and made this the home Xbox. However my new daughter's profile does
    not receive access to gold ultimate on this console.

    Can anyone help please?

    Live gold or ultimate?

    If your son is sharing your daughter's Ultimate subscription, then he doesn't need his own Gold. The only benefits he would lose would be access to each months' Games with Gold games (free games) and sales for Gold members.

    Since you have to sign into your daughter's account to access her games, then yes, you would lose access to those games if you remove her account. You would need to be using her Home console in order to share her games without needing her account, but you can only have 1 console set as your Home at a time, so if the one your son is also using the access her Ultimate is not the same console you're using and your daughter changes her Home setting, your son will then lose access to her subscription. https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/hardware-network/console/my-home-xbox

    I have an Xbox series X w/Game Pass and an Xbox 360, do I need another Xbox Live subscription in order to play on the 360 console?

    Well no gamepass for.Xbox doesn't work with 360 not to mention it dorsnt include gold

    Ultimate does.and only gold part of it works on 360 not the ultimate this includes access to 360 games meaning you will just have to buy them for the 360 before they get delistes

    Hi there!

    Just to confirm, did you also setup your daughter's account privacy settings to Allow online access? You may remove your daughter's account and try only using your own account on your console.

    Also, do you have an active Xbox Live Gold subscription or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate? A Gold subscription is required to play online and multiplayer.

    This has been an issue raised over and over yet seems that microsoft are not interested in doing anything about it unfortunately.

    My household has 4 xbox ones my one x my sons both have a one s and my daughter has the og xbox one.

    I have GP ultimate my eldest son also has GP ultimate my other son has live gold and my daughter has the xbox set as home xbox. So microsoft gets three subscriptions from our household. Maybe one day they may do something similar as Netflix where I have
    one paid account with 5 different profiles that are able to watch anything on Netflix under their own profiles.
