My daughter's privacy settings

We're having the same problems. My daughter used to have her own gold account, but is now setup under family. Her privacy settings are set to allow online multiplayer gaming.

The main account on the Xbox is under my name as I am the adult. There is no option for me to change the name of my Daughter in the family settings, which is ridiculous. However in my privacy settings I can edit my name. There must be a solution.

That error means your daughter is on a child account and you'll need to change her privacy settings.

Microsoft considers all accounts below 18 years as child accounts and the privacy settings page in inaccessible for them by default.

To change the settings you'll need to create a parent/adult account. You'll need to add your daughter to your family group as "Member", then go into the Privacy page and enable the settings.

So I am the parent and I get this error when trying to update the privacy settings of my daughters account. Can someone fix this or let us know what the fix is to get this working.
